The River of Time

The River of Time

Silence comes in Shadows and Rocky Pools

Where Light Reflects the Glimmering facets

Of Hope and Faith,

Courage Shimmering on the surface of the waters,

Even beneath the canopy of Overhanging fear;

Ever Shifting,

Ever Rushing onward

In the ‘plash of the River of Time.

    1. Thank you dear Ihsan. I’ve been struggling this past week, dealing with my new reality and haven’t had a great deal of time or heart for poetry ..but it is coming back and for that I am thankful.

    1. Thank YOU Amy 🙂 I am so glad that my struggle and the hardship I am going through has helped me write words that reach others (as well as me!) Thank you for your friendship 🙂

      1. When we go through the trials of life, sweetie, it makes us wiser and hence we write stronger and deeper. I have not been around as much on here, just really enjoying being outdoors. I suffer immensely in the cold weather so now when it is warm and sunny I am loving every minute I can. Hoping your life is smoothing out. (((HUGS))) Amy

      2. So glad the warmth and balm of summer comforts you and brings you joy 🙂 Much deserved. 🙂 Enjoy it for me as well, since I cannot enjoy it as you do (being allergic to the light as I am)

      3. OH MORGAN! I would honestly shrivel up and die if I could not enjoy the sunshine and warmth. I feel SO bad for you! Is there any way you can wear long clothing to cover your skin and wear a hat? Honestly, my heart is just breaking for you! (((HUGS))) Amy

      4. Oh I manage. I wear lots of sunblock and go out when the sun is low in the sky, early or late. I enjoy alot of summer nights and breathe the sweet, cool, scented air and look at the flowers in the moonlight 🙂 its beautiful too.
