Love is only Contingent Upon
The Depth of the Heart feeling it,
The Willingness of the Spirit waiting for it,
And the Desire of the One Sharing it.

How May I Express in words
An Emotion so Tender and Devoted my Heart has never known?
How Shall I Perceive in sound
A Composition of such Magnificent Music I have never heard?
How Might my Eyes Detect
A Picture of Masculine Perfection they have never seen?
How would my Lips Sustain
The Breathtaking Caress of a Kiss they have never felt?
How will my Hand find Yours
Without the Guidance of my Senses
When You send them Reeling in all Directions
With Your Sweet Voice telling me You Love;
Your Exquisite Stare Entrancing Me;
Your Beautiful Hands Gently taking mine;
And the Touch of Your Perfect Lips?
His eyes reflect the Colours of His Vivid Soul.
His Heart, unclaimed, Is ever my Goal.
His Hands are a Work of Priceless Art,
Breathtaking Perfection in Every part.
His Smile is Entrancing, Enwrapping Seduction,
Leading me, Always, to a Single deduction.
Irresistible in His Masculine Guile,
Dimples caress His Beguiling Smile;
His voice is Symphony; Masterful Sound,
Which makes me Gasp and my heart Pound.
His Body Abundance;
His Spirit Completeness,
Sweetness surrounding Sweetness.
The Beat is Pounding,
The Pulse is Racing,
Lingering shadows, Suffused,
Upon the wall,
Secretly Waiting to Give My All.
While I’m Watching,
While I’m Pacing,
Whispers of Suggestion, Enthralled,
The Fabric of this Moment,
As it Falls,
Yearning, Unmasked, to Give my All.
Your Body is Moving,
Your Hands are Reaching,
The Driving Music, Echoing,
Our Hearts Unite,
Our Spirits Call,
Dancing Together, I Give my All.

If Love Doth Speak
In the Sweetest Language Of its own,
‘Tis then in Honesty
That it speaks to me,
To my Heart,
With Tremors of Breath,
And Shudders of Pleased Delight;
Yet never let it Cease to Whisper,
Lest I be unable to Breathe
By its Loss.

Rest not upon my lips Until His Kiss
Lies also there.
Fill not the recesses of my heart Until His
Is United there with mine.
Be not Content Until I am wrapped
In His Warm Embrace.
That is Longing, be not Happy Until He
Fills it with His Much Desire Love.

There is no Fair Expression my Love can take,
Which would adequately Reveal
The Depths of my Love for You;
For even as Time itself is ever –present
My love for You, as Sweet as Breath,
Beautiful Image found on Pinterest. Credit Acknowledged for the original Photographer.
A Splendid View Entreats my eyes,
It is Your Smile, So Kindly offered;
And I, with hopes locked secretly away,
Do Look and Long
For the Simple Reflection of my Hope
By Your Own.
And if the Pale Glimmer of Your Eyes
Would Lock with mine
And Sing to me my heart’s Desire,
Then would I be Lost

The Music of my Heart
Sings in its Utmost Sweetness,
Only of You.
The Symphony of my Spirit
Plays a tune Blissfully Sublime,
Only for You.
The Enchantment of my Mind
Dreams in shades Breathtaking and True,
Only about You.
Most Beautiful Man!
Who has, all in all,
Swayed my Heart From Fancying any other.
Let me Sing this Enchanted Symphony
Only With You.

Love is a Timeless Endeavor. It is not Fleeting or Transient. It does not turn its face away in times of trouble. It does not look backward, wondering. Love Stands Strong. It Holds Fast when mighty waves crash against it and when storms lash upon the shore. Love is not a Flickering Flame, washed by the currents that brush past it; Love is a Blaze, Burning Brightly, Radiating Fiercely, Lingering Long past the Elemental Inferno, where embers Softly Glow through the long night.
Love is not a shadow, lurking, suspicious and mean-spirited; it is not unkind or vindictive. Love Fills the Souls of Two made entirely for each other and offers an Irreplaceable Opportunity to Cherish and Be Cherished.
Love is not self-seeking. It does not look to its own needs, but only to Another’s. It Helps, Guides, Protects, and Prays. It Waits long past the expected time of arrival, Never Faltering. It Gives Without Recompense and does not wander when there is little. Love is Stronger Than Steal, yet far more Delicate than a Single Strand of precious silk.
Love does not waver or meander, tasting all the temptations along the way, but Hungers and Thirsts for One Alone. Love is Winsome. Love is Magical. Love makes the ordinary, Remarkable. Love Stands on the Mountain and Shouts to the Highest Heaven. Love Whispers just above Perception, Hoping to be heard.
Love is Breathless. Love is Frenzied. Love is Patient. Love is Willing. Love is truly a Many Splendored Thing.
When Love is
The Hours of Night Pour through the casement,
Secret, Yet Unhidden,
Clutching at my Train of Thought;
An Addiction that’s Unbidden.
Twilight circles Menacing outside the Darkened door,
Her Indigo spread wide,
Cloaking all my Reticence,
Until I’ve nowhere left to Hide.
The Hours strike and echo in this Brazen Reverie,
Impervious to Haste,
With You, Initiative is Sweet,
Though rarely ever Chaste.
Yes, I do apologize, I didn’t get off to a fabulous start here, been a while, no excuses, terribly sorry!
Something a bit more relevant than the last Burning Question: What is your favourite Poem and, of course, Why? (and yes, it can certainly be one of your own or by a fellow blogger) Please Post that poem (or a link to it if it is lengthy) and Why you couldn’t possibly live without it.
Mine is, without a doubt, The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes ( found here: http://www.poets.org/viewmedia.php/prmMID/16431) It is a beautifully, tragic Narrative Poem that is romantic as well as sad, passionate as well as frightening, and evokes breathtaking imagery. I fell in love with this poem the first time I heard it in High School, and then, to my inexplicable delight, I discovered that Loreena McKennitt set it to music. Needless to say, it is now also one of my all time favourite songs…(listen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7Y-VBD0kRI )
