Pray

Pray

Twist in my stomach

Pain in my Smile

There is no way

I can Beguile

Myself into thinking

This was a good day

Frustration and Stress

OH how I must Pray!

Wrenching Sensation

Filling my Being

Throbbing Headache

Keeps me from Seeing

The Beauty Before Me

The Steadying Arms

Hovering Near me

Protecting from Harm

Sickening Writhing

Muffling the Words I Might Say

Tears and Weariness

How I Long to Pray

A Few Quiet Moments

Silence, Away from the Fray

Will Soothe All the madness

When I Stop and Pray.

    1. Yes, Thank You. It passed and I don’t carry things with me over into the next day if I can help it. But it was a rough one, to be sure. Glad tomorrow is Friday 😉 😉 🙂

  1. Nice.. I am an agnostic/atheist.. But for me, prayer is sitting and listening to the sound of the wind in the mountains, the flowing of the river…
