Hush

Candlelight

Hush

In the Glimmering Traces of Day,
As Evening Darkens and Slips Away;
When Candlelight Sparkles against the Wall,
Where Whispers Linger as we Fall.

Hush

In the Lavender Glow of the Moon,
As the Hours Slip by, Too Fast, Too Soon;
When the rest of the world is ever Turning,
While this Romance, in Whispers, is Burning.

Hush

Through the Glistening Tide of Night,
Where Whispers Echo in Thunder Slight;
In the Stillness of the Early Morn,
Finding us Clothed in the Rapture weโ€™ve Worn.

    1. ๐Ÿ™‚ Moonlight is an amazing thing, I think. It can be blushing pink, it can be Harvest Orange, It can be Lavender Lilac, It can be Crimson Red. Or maybe It’s beauty is in the eye of the beholder? ๐Ÿ™‚

      Thank You so much sweet Friend ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Yes we do celebrate Advent, which is coming ๐Ÿ™‚ I really love that you can draw a Christian perspective from these words that were written, more or less, in a more evocative manner. But it says alot about how Poetry/Art speaks, softly, without our even being aware, to many hearts and minds so differently. What a Blessing it is to Share such Magic with others ๐Ÿ™‚
