Hush

Candlelight

Hush

In the Glimmering Traces of Day,
As Evening Darkens and Slips Away;
When Candlelight Sparkles against the Wall,
Where Whispers Linger as we Fall.

Hush

In the Lavender Glow of the Moon,
As the Hours Slip by, Too Fast, Too Soon;
When the rest of the world is ever Turning,
While this Romance, in Whispers, is Burning.

Hush

Through the Glistening Tide of Night,
Where Whispers Echo in Thunder Slight;
In the Stillness of the Early Morn,
Finding us Clothed in the Rapture we’ve Worn.

    1. 🙂 Moonlight is an amazing thing, I think. It can be blushing pink, it can be Harvest Orange, It can be Lavender Lilac, It can be Crimson Red. Or maybe It’s beauty is in the eye of the beholder? 🙂

      Thank You so much sweet Friend 🙂

    1. Yes we do celebrate Advent, which is coming 🙂 I really love that you can draw a Christian perspective from these words that were written, more or less, in a more evocative manner. But it says alot about how Poetry/Art speaks, softly, without our even being aware, to many hearts and minds so differently. What a Blessing it is to Share such Magic with others 🙂
