Shaken to my very Core,
I stand and Consider, Haplessly;
Into the night I follow, Willing,
Regretting much upon the Morn.
Villains’ rhetoric Steals my Virtue,
Challenging what I would Willingly say,
Glass like, Fragile Hope does shatter,
Where once it Stood, In situ.
Chasms dark and Deep, foreboding,
Stretch into the ebon night,
Relentless as the Dawn, comes seeking
Guilt and all her power, off loading.
Yet as the Golden fretted Heavens
Stretch vast from East to West,
Grace for taking lavish misjudgment,
Touching my soul, Forgiven.
