Collapse

Within this Rift of Loss
Where Grief and Shadow Dwell to Slay,
Pulling Light from Deep Inside,
Shifting All colour to Muted Gray.

Collapse

Into the chasm of doubt,
Beyond all security or intention,
Whispers mocking amidst the rivers
Of my broken and lost attention.

Collapse

Falling, crashing, tumbling,
Endlessly spiraling in empty black,
Echo of Unspoken Promises
Linger and hauntingly call me back.

Collapse

Into the thoughtless unknown,
Brave pool of lost inhibition,
Seeking Light,
Subtle, yet Bright,
To Collapse into Transition.

  1. Oh wow, how you describe the desolation of grief is powerful, Morgan. I try to avoid that place as much as I can because I really think I won’t come back out of it, it being so deep. Gorgeous painting of words, dear friend. Just wow!! ❤

    1. Thank You So Much Amsgirl. I know we both know this place of sorrow so well, and the pain is still too close sometimes, so I thank You truly for reading, for delving, and for appreciating 🙂

      Blessings of Light my Friend~
