Sing Softly O My Soul

Sing Softly

.

Sing Softly Oh my Sighing Soul,
Though Tempests Howl and Round you Blow,
Tossed upon the Thrashing Sea,
Sing Softly in the Vast Beauty,
Through the Raging Waters of Fear,
Past the Mammoth Monster’s Leer,
Sing Softly in the Silence, Still,
Sing when the Demon’s Cry is Shrill,
Above the Dashing, Chaffing Brine,
Sing Softly My Soul, O Loving Shrine,
Beyond the Mortal Fear and Hate,
Never Shrinking at Hell’s Gate,
Sing Softly Oh my Sighing Soul,
Though the Tempests round may, Ever, Blow.
