How my Heart does Yearn,
For You Alone.
When at the Breaking of the Day
I wake, Alone,
My heart Seeks Solace In the
Brightness of the Light,
And the Warmth of the Sun,
In Absence of You,
Alone.
Timid of the Noontide,
I Wait with bated breath;
Seeking Your Smile,
Straining for the Delicious Sound of Your Voice,
Alone;
For nothing else Satisfies this Heart,
Nothing else Quenches this Longing,
But You,
Alone.
