We spent a happy hour or two at the Cape May Winery and, of course, I spent more time taking pictures than partaking of the house reserve wines (though I did enjoy a small glass of their White Port!) I did not notice this friend sharing our visit until I came home and put my photos onto my computer. Interestingly, my family history records that my Great-Great Grandfather Morgan had a small cabin in the same area near the Cape May Winery. As I was inside an immaculately clean room where there was little sunlight beaming in through the one window on the second floor and the one door leading to a covered patio behind me in this shot, my curiosity about this unanticipated visitor has certainly been sparked.

Rather hard for me to think this is anything other than what it looks like…a bright, brazen orb saying hello!

What do you think?

    1. I seem to capture a very similar looking orb in many of my photos and I often wonder…am I seeing my Guardian Angel? ๐Ÿ™‚ I would gladly have shared it ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Its a perfectly wonderful little escape. Its also BYOF (food) you can bring a picnic lunch with you, buy a bottle, hang out in the garden and chill as long as you please ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. It was a surprise to discover, but since I have several photos at home with orbs as well (rather similar looking, really, though an orb might be an orb might be an orb, if you know what Im saying) so It makes me rather wonder…is this someone I know? ๐Ÿ˜‰

      1. Sometimes, though I never have a camera to hand at those moments and in this case I did not, just snapped the picture and turned round. I find the “paranormal” quite intriguing. do you?

      2. I find it interesting, and somewhat necessary for writing research, but I don’t have a huge appetite for it. I think the inconclusive nature of it all irks me. I can’t write good fiction without hard science to ground it.

      3. I find your last sentence rather amusing, because I tend to write fiction in the opposite direction. I make up stuff regardless of science LOL ๐Ÿ™‚ I guess thats what FANTASY genre is all about and that’s why it appeals to me so much.

  1. Beautiful, and what an interesting orb to spot on your last photo! The rational side of me says it was probably just something that caught the light and reflected it onto your camera; the fanciful side of me sees it as mystical and even spiritual. Who knows? Perhaps you caught an angel?!
