Friday Fantasy – Tufted Splendor

longnap

Sleep, O Master,

In Tufted Splendor,

While all the Earth

Stoops Quietly to render

One Single Painted Phrase of Lore,

To Capture the Memory of Resplendent Yore

That Sleeps Beside Thee,

Dreaming of Times

When Men Understood

Harmonious Rhymes.

      1. I think we love little bit of the same things!! 🙂 Have you seen the BBC Series “Lark Rise to Candleford” ? I love that series so much!! 🙂 I would love to read your book! Any plans of making a hard copy? My computer screen is terrible so it hurts my eyes too much to read on the computer, I can read short poems and articles, but not an entire book, but I would so much like to read your book!!! tell me please if it is made into a hard copy!! 🙂 and oh, CONGRATULATIONS on the publication, that is so wonderful and exciting!! i bet it will be a big hit!! I have lots and lots of faith in you!

      2. You are truly so very kind 😉 I am hoping, with faithful expectation, that it will do well on Kindle and then I will be able to get it published into actual book form. I will certainly make the “announcement” when both happen 🙂 Kindle is rather a first step, but since its free, its a step I really cant “afford” NOT to take 🙂

Yes yes, I love Lark Rise 🙂 I watch a lot of Masterpiece Theatre 😉 I also have a book in the works that is a Regency Period Drama/romance. It is written very much in the style of Jane Austin and has taken me quite literally nearly 20 years to get it to the point where it is nearly ready, also, for publishing. that will be nearly a Lifelong Dream Come True 🙂
