Your Smile- Sonnet XVII

Your Smile

You Step into my Silence, Glistening;
Your Smile All My Eyes can See,
Faith Breaks from Clouds like Colour, Misting
Echoes of Love from Eternity.
Where Hope Gleams in Unabashed State,
Unfettered and Unhinged Be,
Tossing Intemperance to the Winds of Fate,
While Hushed and Fragile this Heart shall Beat.
Clouds May Shower Gloomy Shade,
And Barren ‘Scapes Around me Lie,
Yet When You Smile, All Shadows Fade;
When You Laugh, Desolation Sighs!
Here, then, in Silence Live I, Waiting
For Your Smile, Despair Translating.
