One Melody

One Melody

When the Echoes of Time
Do spill in Flowing ripples of Synchronicity,
Capturing the Spirit in all the Glory that is
Ever Present in Thee,
Tell the nations of Your Splendor,
And Speak Harmonious and Bright,
That those who Hear Your Voice
May Sing in Equity and Bliss,
Together in One Melody.

      1. Thatยดs beautifully said. And would be nice if it would be true. Now my brain doesnยดt hurt so much, I was really knocking my neurons off while reading the poem(I like that by the way).

      2. I do tend to mask my meanings behind profusions of words and symbolism…so I do apologize. I guess its the poet in me that tries to make everything lyrical rather than straightforward.

      3. I imagine thatยดs what poetry is all about. I do remember in one of my highschool english classes reading some poetry. And ten people reading the same poem usually would come up with at leas 5 different opinions about what we thought the poet meant by saying this or that, and then teacher would walk us through it. So my guess is that mostly is the interpretation of what the reader is reading. Frustrating because if you read a poet in a book is not like you can call him up, specially one that has been dead for centuries and ask him what did he mean in the second phrase. Better to use wordpress.
