Heart of the Wilderness – #Poetry of the #NaturalWorld

In the silence of the snowfall,
where the ancient forests breathe,
a heartbeat stirs beneath the frost
and whispers through the trees.

A guardian steps from memory,
crowned in winter’s woven light,
his antlers catching fire-glow
from the fading edge of night.

Born of leaf and shadowed timber,
shaped by wind and elder song,
he carries in his quiet breath
the pulse that keeps the wild strong.

He walks the path where none now tread,
through cold that humbles mortal bone,
yet every root and branch he passes
knows him as their very own.

For in his chest the forest beats,
and in his gaze the dawn unfolds.
He is the keeper of the stillness,
the flame beneath the winter’s cold.

And if you listen to the silence
as the snow drifts soft and slow,
you may hear the wild heart calling
from the place where spirits go.
