The Western Gate – #Elvish #Fantasy #Flashfiction

In the heart of an oak woodland, bathed in the golden hues of setting sunlight, stood the Elvin Western Gate, entrance into Elysium. Ancient stonework marks the threshold where mortal world meets ethereal realms, its intricate patterns glimmering with the streaming light of the setting sun. Vines drape like soft whispers over its weathered surface, and wildflowers dance at its base, whispering tales of the gate’s magic, where those pure of heart may pass into a land of eternal spring.
Elves spoke of its enchantment, a portal to realms where magic flowed like rivers and time wandered aimlessly, but legends said the gate only opened to those whose souls resonate with harmony and kindness, offering passage to a paradise untouched by time. It stood as a testament to the enduring bond between nature and elfkind.
