This piece is NOT about hatred.
It is about the right to choose.
Tradition is beautiful and, if freely chosen, should be honored and respected. But many live in a world where they are seen as commodities, something to be owned but not respected. Something to be taken, used, or overlooked.
This piece is about the social and moral injustice done to each person when they are objectified. If we want to live in a harmonious world, we first must embody harmony.

Oh, Morgan, you don’t know how I relate to this. I just had a “conversation” with someone today, that because of the fact men do not know how to be men, much less the fact know how to treat a woman, I have chosen to guard those Inner Secrets so that they are not tarnished or abused in any way. These words struck HOME. Bless you!!! Love xxoo, Amy

Acceptance is half the battle, I think. I tried for many years to accept what I had, but what I had didn’t want to be accepted and just pushed further and further away. When Alcohol became more important than me, I knew it was time.

Oh, Morgirl, sometimes in life we must make some really really difficult decisions, that just about rip our hearts out, but afterwards, sometimes a long times afterwards, life really does get better. I was just thinking about one of those case scenarios today. Man! I still have a hard time with it, but I know it is for the best. Have a great evening, my friend, and sweet dreams!!! Love, Amy

What a beautiful poem and image! I love the contrast in this — how the narrator has this rich inner world despite the trappings someone else puts her in.
