S – Stillness, crisp and Light upon the breeze,

I – Incandescent Glitter through the leafless trees,

L – Lingering Luster of Summer’s Balm,

E – Echoes of laughter in the Glistening Calm,

N – November Russets Transcending the Rush,

C – Chills Enticing through the Whispering Hush,

E – Evanescence of warmth in the December Freeze.

  1. Such a well-constructed piece, Morgan. Unlike many other attempts at an acrostic verse, it does read as a proper poem, with each line standing on its own, not just with new lines started with whatever word’s initial letter fits into the format. Well done.
