The vistas from Mt Evans were spectacular and these are just a few. We climbed to the summit to watch the Eclipse …and had a spectacular view!

What a great place to see everything! Looks like a perfect spot for a vacation — I know you’re all rested up and ready to get back to work, too! 😉

Very cool. And to see the eclipse from up there… Very, very cool. I topped Mt. Evans as a kid (my dad driving). This trip, we hiked to about 12,200, but not over 14K.

That would be a stupendous hike. I was dizzy just walking up the last 500 feet of the trail to the summit LOL

It was so wonderful. I know we’ll be going back, not simply because we both loved it, but he has family in Denver as well 🙂 Im looking forward to visiting the Garden of the Gods next time!

Actually, amazingly, I wasn’t. I think I was dumbstruck by the grandeur of it all.

You being dumbstruck is like you being speechless! There are always words tumbling around in your head. I’m surprised you don’t trip over them.
