There

Where the Sky Bends

Limitless

Where

There Lies Pale Truth

Sleeping

There

Beyond the Parallels

Unending

Beyond

Where Mystery Sings

Sleeping

There

Amidst the Breath of Time

Breathing

Where

The Heart Remembers

Unending

Amidst All the Madness

Keeping

Where Memory Lies

There!

I wrote this poem using a form of my own making (I think!)  When reading the poem, read the first line, then read the first line into the second.  Reading the second line into the third and the third line into the fourth.  Meaning: There, There Where the Sky Bends, Where the Sky Bends Limitless, Limitless Where…etc.

I love the repetitious nature of the form.  I think it exemplifies the powerful emotion in the poem and how our own thoughts often go round in circles when we are so strongly led by emotion.

What do you think?  Im looking for some honest feedback…and, if you feel so creative, perhaps a name for this form/format, because I’ll be writing more.  Perhaps you’d like to write one as well 🙂

Thank You Ever So for your Kind involvement and feedback.  It means a great deal!

  1. I love the flow, and the way each single word gives space for pondering, and creates heightened interest in what comes next. It’s also the way we sometimes speak. My one thought is that the reader must supply the key word for the next line. I don’t, however have an idea about how to avoid this. Perhaps italicizing the single words might allow you to repeat the word, initialized, in the next line? Just a thought.

No matter how I read it, it’s lovely!😊💕💜
