They say when life hands you lemons what you should do is make lemonade, but I am not quite sure what to do when life hands you walking pneumonia?   ….

Stay in Bed, I shouldn’t wonder. Oh yes, and drink plenty of liquids.

So, although this absence is unscheduled,

And while such Silence may inadvertently Please,

I shall be Missing for a few more days

while I moan and whine, cough, hack, and wheeze ….

  3. Morgan, I am so sorry you are ill, I didn’t know. My daughter in-law has been in bed for a full month with this. Last week she broke a few ribs just from coughing. Please take very good care, my sweet friend. Get well really fast. I feel like I should be cooking soup for you.

    1. Oh dear, that is horrible she should be coughing so hard as to crack ribs. Goodness! Although I will admit, I had to apply an ice pack to my chest/throat last night because of so much coughing, I think my throat was swollen! I shall be visiting the Dr on tuesday if the situation does not improve. Soup would be wonderful, I agree.

      1. I’m so glad to see you back my friend, missed the beauty I find in your library. Little sister and family coming today for a few days..so excited….and Friday the big birthday…then again I suppose I celebrate life everyday. 29 again, it still rocks😊
