Mirror of the Lustrous Night,
Pale Gemstone of my Longing Desire,
Goddess Singing in the Soaring Sky,
Tune of Ancient Melody and Forgotten Rhyme,
Glimmer as the Deep Indigo of Midnight
Holds its Fearsome Court over the Sleeping Sands of Time,
Shimmer into the Shadows of Ethereal Enchantment
That Quicken the Pulse and Divert the Mind,
And Blaze with Your Sweet, Dulcet Fire
Of Yielding Gentle Light
Into All I Am and Remember.

It doesn’t obviously rhyme, but it so does! Deep, beautiful words. Mad respect to poets, indeed!

Thank You So Much Rommel 🙂 I do try very hard not to have my poetry sound like a sing-song nursery rhyme and appreciate the props 🙂 So Very Glad you liked it!!

Lovely, as always, Morgan. I am so behind and I’m sure I’ve missed some posts.
