Purest-Fire

Purest fire, Tempt my Soul
And Teach me to Speak in Truth alone.
Sing unto my straining ear, Seeking Wisdom,
Craving Guidance.
In long and lonely State,
I stand perplexed and wondering,
Yet You Hear my questioning thoughts,
You Understand the mortal fears of my heart,
For in Your Image, Am I Wrought,
And in Your Light, Am I Revealed.
Fear beguiles, Lamenting and Sad,
But in Your Shadow do I Walk and
Darkness Flees in all Directions.
