As we are all busy on the week ends, often with little time for properly creative endeavors, (Or, at least, this is the state in which I often find myself) I have decided to initiate Saturday Showcase: a place where I can revisit, reiterate, renew, and re-run some of my older, perhaps previously unnoticed, pieces. Admittedly, this is a time saver for me, as life often consumes most of my time of a Saturday or Sunday, but it is also an opportunity for me to have another look at older pieces, revamp and, hopefully, revitalize them. To start off, I have taken this piece, originally posted in August 2013 as a simple poem with no artwork, and readdressed it with a fitting image. I hope you will enjoy it again, or for the first time.

You’re welcome! Genres…metal and ambient chillstep… We’ve been listening to Five Finger Death Punch lately and the lead singer has an awesome voice perfect for rock ballads. Ambient chillstep instrumental pieces are pretty easy to sing along to and the feel of this poem fits well with the feel of either of those, in my opinion. 😀 Good stuff!
