In the Dappled Light of Ruddy Autumn,

Rich in Russet, Red and Gold,

The Queen of the Harvest Gently Rides,

Transforming the Verdant wold.

With Gilded Glory Strewn from her hand

To Kiss the Apple, Sweet and Tender;

Summer’s Endeavor Now Unfolds,

All the Season’s Blushing Splendor.
