Like the Sea

Like the Sea

She Stands and Waits,

Her Love Stretched forth

Like Sparkling Waves upon the ocean,

Shimmering in the Loving Sun,

Caressed by the roguish wind,

Tossed and chaffed by the writhing tumult,

Yet Ever Renewed,

Ever Rising and Falling,

Like the Sea itself,

Breathing.

  1. Waiting for the return. A classical one. .)

BTW, I always seem to wonder about the unreal beauty of the women published with such texts. But probably even artists cannot escape their cultural imprints …

    1. this is a very true observation. We tend to want to be as beautiful as we dream we are, but you offer me an interesting opportunity…to write such a post with a more “average, every day” image.

    1. I saw her standing there and thought to myself…she looks so lonely. Thus was born the verse. Thank You ever so much as always. I am always so happy to know you enjoy BnV 😉
