Black 1

Shards of Obscurity

Empty Depths of Prose

Collection of Memory

Like Obsidian Rose

Black 4

Lost in the Shadows

Of Jet Perception

Lingering Emptiness

In Vacuous Reception

Black 3

Bleak and Ethereal

Starless Black Sky

Swirls of Sweet Lethargy

As I Succumb and Sigh.

    1. Thank You Callum 🙂 a friend requested my next colour theme to be black, so I was obliging with this…but I was happily surprised by it as well 🙂 Glad so much that you enjoyed it too!

    1. I didn’t want it to be too dark, even though its about Black. Now, some of my poems in October (for Halloween ) you might want to steer clear of lOL 🙂

Thanks so Much dear friend 🙂

    1. 🙂 You might be surprised to learn that I actually have a Gloriously Gothic Pinterest board 😉 Yes, Black can be quite seductive (but black without some form of light cant really be seen soooo…. lol ) ( I had to! LOL )

    1. I rather liked it, though I also thought it would be unexpected 😉 Im glad the main feeling of the poem is still a positive, even though its about Blackness 😉

      Thanks Ever So Ms Vee!

    1. 🙂 Thanks once again, though Thanks always sounds so pat to me. I don’t often tiptoe into the darkness, but these images spoke so clearly. Yes, Obsidian is a nifty, under-utilized word. Now its Your turn to write something about your fav word 🙂

      1. Already wrote one a while back.. Check out my post Obsidian Reality when you get a chance. Let me know what you think. Once again awesome piece Morgan.

Having Perused, Let Your Thoughts Show; and in Receiving them, Thank You Ever So!
