This Silence

This Silence

This Silence
Is Seeping,
Creeping,
Weighing down All that I Feel,
Masking in Light that is Ethereal.

This Silence
Is Raining,
Gaining,
On Everything I try to Achieve,
Blanketing the Truth I Believe.

Is Stealing
Concealing,
Congealing,
Like Smoke in a Dazzling room,
Deepening like Burgeoning Gloom;
Yet,
This Silence
Cannot Take Your Light from me,
Cannot Stop this Spiritual Breeze,
Will not Prevail like the Winterโ€™s Freeze!

This Silence
Only Letโ€™s me Hear
Your Whispered Words,
Soft and Clear!

  1. Crisp and solitudinous is what I get from this piece, all this snow is making you guys very romantic over there…if you wish I will allow you to keep the snow until May. I am nice like that!
