It is not merely an Issue of the Unimaginably Cruel treatment of Another Living, Breathing, Thinking, Feeling Being Existing with us on this Remarkably Fragile planet; it is a Question of Whether Or Not We are HUMAN enough to Generate Changes that Convey a Message, Instigate Innovative Attitudes and Evoke HARMONY.

Morgan, you wrote what is represented in my life. I do my best in my wee corner of the world to put an end to the abuse of animals. (think of that huge wall I posted) There are days I cry because the little I do does not even seem to put a dent in the travesty in this world. What man does to animals sickens my heart when I know these precious beings have feelings, emotions, feel pain, know hunger, and have senses that we humans don’t understand because we are so cut off from Source. (God) Nature is in my opinion, more evolved then human KIND. Kind? How ironic that the very name man has for himself is the furthest thing man is.
OK. I’ll get off my soap box now.

Brilliantly expressed, Amy. I wholeheartedly concur. My Mother often reminds me that, those who do not have The Spirit residing within, do not SEE the dark things they do, and I think this is true. We See it and Feel it and Weep for it because The Spirit does.
Ill join you up on that soapbox 😉

Bless you, Friend. At times I see too much. Seeing is a double edged sword. And those whose walk is with Spirit, on the Path of Love, see, and yes, they do weep for those who are tortured and beaten, violated and mistreated, starving and abused. I’ve never understood how man can treat animals the way they do. Where are their Hearts???
Hey, I Love your new gravatar. Now let’s see if it comes through over at my blog. LOL
We must stay on the Light side of things, Mor, cause if we don’t, we would loose it. (((HUGS))) Amy

I was reading a devotional last evening that said the same thing…Keep Looking at God, that way we do not focus on the ugliness of this world and fall into despair.

Beautiful, Morgan. I’m scorned because I won’t look at the world and I do my ultimate best to keep the world out of this home. I focus on Love and Peace and visualize this going out into the world. xxoo

the book of excuses from those heartless doers of abuse will be quite lengthy..how will they explain it away???? Because He already knows their answers…

Good one, Mom! Now that is a thought I shall keep with me as I deal with people who are heartless when it comes to animals. (sigh) and (deep breath)

But you use the word as if it were meaning ‘entirely good’, Morgan. To be human enough to do something good? – I don’t think so. I feel so old that I must be turning into dust, sometimes.

The image of the shackled elephant brings tears to my heart. Cruelty is a terrible act indeed. It should forever be banished.

It broke my heart searching for this image, as I saw many others even more horrific..but I did not, I simply could not put those on my blog. this one is bad enough. I do agree, I so long for Harmony!
