Sweet Mystery

Sweet Mystery

There is a Place I once knew Well,
Of Time and Tapestry Unraveled,
Enchantment Spilling from Hill and Dell,
O’re which we tirelessly Traveled.

Hearts like Fire and Fire like Love,
Beating in this Sweet Mystery,
E’re circling in Rose-lined clouds Above,
Speaking of Fain Chemistry.

Darkness Falling like Glittering Rain
Upon the Fair Glow of Mortal Time,
Shadows Intoxicate our Pain,
Why Ever Animosity turned to Rhyme.

    1. You are quite right, you don’t see it much anymore, but I’ve always loved the mythical connection between maid and dragon, which speaks of times past as well as today 😉

    1. Once again, I came across an image that stirred a story inside…but look at it…who wouldn’t see that and begin to weave a tale in their heads? 🙂

It happens in either direction for me. I can see an image and BLAM. I can hear music and WHAM. or I can be commenting somewhere and, um, SHAZAM ? 🙂

        sorry, feeling impish today!
