Time will Weave Her Mysterious Web
And Walk in Shadow as well as Rhyme,
Words will Linger long after Spoken,
Like the Echoing Ring of Crystal Chimes,
Memory Walks Upon Forsaken Paths,
Whispering of Days, Lost and Forgotten,
Colours Fade like Autumnโs Ebb,
Like Promises, Sadly Misbegotten.
Withering Road, Once Daily Trodden,
Overgrown and Under Used,
Purpose Poisoned by Apathy,
Forever, Woefully Abused.

This art and your words enchant. Haunting. Apathy runs rampant in this world and for you to associate apathy with this bewitching forest is something only a Mind like yours would do. Fantastic, Morgan!
Hoping any day now, my “writing” will turn back on. (sigh) Dry well. Thank God for poets and Great Thinkers I can rely on. I close my eyes upon this site. I dream dreams of nostalgia.

The words will come. If they are quiet, it must be because you are being asked to hear something meant only for you…or perhaps you are being asked to explore other gifts ๐ It is always a good thing, though…never fear ๐

I know, Morgan, yet I await eagerly for that damn to break and I become the chatter box once again. For now, poetry and photos are balm to my Soul. ๐

Had to say, this left me with a real sense of sadness. Apathy is such a horrible slow killer. Great work though!

My work here is done LOL ๐ didn’t mean for it to be a downer, but sometimes the bluer emotions create a wonderful poem.

It looked that way to me as well…a quiet, forgotten corner. They are usually the places from which Inspiration Springs, since it is there that we are able to be still and quiet, as well ๐
