Sitting Quietly writing poetry, my phone rang with a frantic voice on the other end inquiring if I am ok. Why? Because just behind my house an abandoned cabinetry warehouse is, at this very moment, engulfed in flames and exploding, spewing out chunks of burning ash that are flying in all directions, and were even landing on my head as I BRIEFLY popped outside, camera in hand. Shaking fiercely, I admit these are not the best pictures, but they convey the idea well enough.

Oh my! i recall that feeling when I observed my first flash flood and took pictures of it.. Take care!

All’s well. It took over 6 hours before all the firetrucks finally left. Thankful no one was hurt.

I’m glad to hear you’re okay. I remember a fire two houses away from me, and that was a frightening experience.

Did the fire department come?
These days there are dangers everywhere. For example older people who want to save money, die of cold, fireplace, my own experience- carbon almost killed us, sliding and falling on ice and breaking a bone, etc, etc, etc…
Be well friend…
