Dulce

Dulce

Seduce me with

Your Honeyed Eloquence,

Painted Phrases,

Mesmeric Verses,

Whispering in

Breathless, Blushing Tones

Until my Heart Trembles,

My Strength Fails,

And Yearning Devours.

      1. I know what you mean…I’ve had a few poems like that too..(I’m still hiding some, though a few I have shared already lol). 💗✨

      1. Of course my sweet friend!
You have to upload the banner first. You can find the banner on my blog. Then go to your dashboard and choose in the left menu media and then library. Choose the picture of the banner and click edit. On the right you will find the file url. Copy that url. Now go back to your dashboard and choose appearance and click widgets. You can drag a image button to the right primary sidebar. Paste your file url into the box that says image url and give the image a name like blog of the year award. Save and the banner will appear on your sidebar. 🙂

I hope this helps you. Just ask if you need something else. Good luck! Hugz ♥

  1. Dear God, my Heart went right through the roof with this one! Between the red and your words……yearning emerges for youth once more. Ahhhhhh…….

Thank you, Morgan. I DO still feel. How about that? (((HUGS)))

  2. Surely this request must not go unfulfilled. I feel pleasantly challenged, while simultaneously enchanted by the beauty of your verse. Perhaps a reply is in order, if you would permit me. 😉

      1. An attempt has been made, brazened by your words, yet strangely weakened by desire–still, written for you nonetheless if you care to come calling

Thank You so much. This one had me distracted for half the day, debating if I should write it or not, because it’s a bit of a departure from my norm….but it finally won the argument 🙂

  3. I was so hoping this was an acrostic poem, judging by the initial visual impact 🙂
No luck though, even rearranging I could only come up with subway, buys or abysm.
So I will have to make do with honeyed phrases and mesmerizing verses. Not too shabby.

  4. This is deeply, richly, dangerously seductive writing, Morgan. This may be the road less travelled for you, but I think you should explore this side of your writing personality more fully.

    1. Why Thank You Tony. Indeed it is less traveled, but I do stray onto this path now and again 😉 Perhaps, since the overall opinion seems to concur with yours, I shall stray slightly more often!

  5. If only more souls spoke that language. A yearning played on the strings of the mind bowed with passion. And mindful intensity.
