This Shape of Time,
Like a Wave Does Roll,
Ever Turning the Pages,
Ever Exacting its Toll.
Pressing Us Forward,
Pushing Us Down,
Without Weight, Without Form,
Ever Spinning round.
Fleeting and Brief,
Yet Infinitely Long,
Thundering From Darkness,
Sweet as Angelic Song.
Tracing Our Days,
From First to Last Breath,
Present Before Life,
Lingering After Death.
Surrounding, Penetrating,
Inescapable Time,
Relentless Jailor,
Gentle, Loving Rhyme.
~Morgan~

We are speck of dust in time while time is part of us and like you said we cannot escape time. We cannot exist outside of time.

Yes, time IS inescapable. We cannot avoid coming to terms with it. A jailor indeed. Sometimes a benevolent one and sometimes a malevolent one!

“This Shape of Time, / Like a Wave Does Roll,” – great beginning Morgan! And we are taken and rolled over by this wave, trapped like a prisoner that cannot escape.
