it is so sad that as such evolved beings ( homo sapien i mean), so often we cannot gauge the suffering of animals – best example is the Zoo – all craetures there are in that state – and we watch with total lack of compassion – in Newe York Central Park there is a polar bear – makes my heart ache to see it and yet often people dont see what it is suffering – or a parrot in a cage 2 feet by 2feet if that crazed for ever when it could have been flying in the blue sky – i do believe in reincarnation and that those responsible for subjecting creatures to such torture may one day land there themselves.

I feel so very much the same. I cannot go to zoo’s….they break my heart. Nor can I look at much of their suffering because it haunts me day and night. I do hope you are right!
