River of Tumbling Monotony,
Deluge of cacophony,
Through Silent Intrepidity,
Whisper in the Tranquil night
A Song to echo Infinity
While Sorrows stream from blackened Sight
A talisman of Surety;
Sing sweet Song
Wield your Harmony
Beyond the shores of Extremity
Into the Bliss of Infinity
As Night turns into golden day
And Light subdues her Amber rays
Sing lilting messenger of Gold
Into the masses
Into the wold
Of tempestuous struggles that fret and mire
Sing Sweet Song
and Never Tire!

The Whispers of the Breeze
Speaks Silence to my Heart,
In Shades of Indigo Brilliance
And Bright Luminous Mists of Tranquil Blue,
Speaking of Sweet Mystery,
Uttering Paradoxes, Timeless and True.
Unfettered upon this Whisper of Air,
Unchained from Grief, from Doubt, from Despair,
Into the Realms of Pearlescent Dreams,
Glittering Incomprehensibility Streams.

I have been quiet this week due to having just moved to my new home in Alexandria Virginia. I have been settling in as well as tackling the daunting task of learning a new job. I hope that you are all enjoying a fabulous May. Please know that I shall return as soon as possible, but as we are preparing to move again to a new condo across town at the end of May my return may be sporadic until we are completely resettled.
Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and continuing to visit BnV for any of the guest bloggers I have scheduled during my hiatus. As ever I wish you all the best blessings and happiness.
In this world of Light and Dark, Hatred and Love, Hope and Fear; I thought a simple poem filled with opposing words and the Perspectives they represent appropriate.

Another Stellar offering by Braeden Michaels of Overflowing Ink. Definitely a blog/writer I’m thankful for 🙂
One of the many joys of birding in other countries is spending time with local guides. Whether it’s driving through the towns or bumping along on a back road, for a short, sweet time we are receiving the gift of a glimpse into their lives. Trinidad is a small island in the West Indies, […]
Don’t have time or finances to travel the world? Me either! But Thanks to Jet, I can still see beautiful corners of the Earth and take a Mini-cation right from my desk/chair 🙂
Do stop by her lovely blog and discover the wonders for yourself !
Perceptions shift in the rustling Indigo,
Uncertainty Spinning with the Forgotten Long Ago,
Whispers of what was once mere Rhyme,
Now congeal and collide in the Arc of Time,
To Underscore and Intersperse with Ebon Colours Lifting,
Like Perception in the Rustling Indigo, Ethereally Shifting.

To this Reality
Pas de Duex
Believe it or not, most of my poetry has an underlying metaphysical correlation. I know, hard to believe when you read words that are so filled with frivolous fun, but I have always thought this gift for words I have been given should be used as responsibly as I can. Oh to be sure, I do also write fluff, just for fun, but this bouncing little verse is actually a verbal demonstration of the term ‘Pas de Duex’. Defined as: a dance or figure for two performers; an intricate relationship or activity involving two parties or things, I have used the image to indicate how everything in nature dances together in an intricate relationship that often Inspires Happiness and produces Beauty.

The Angels remind us that friends come and go throughout life, but true, lasting friends are connected at soul level and are with us forever, even when we’re apart.
So Thankful for this Beautiful blog laden with Encouragement, Loving Reminders and Inspiration from the Spirit.
Sweet as a laughing brook through the
River of a steaming day
Fulsome as pirouetting snow
Around a singing, horse-drawn sleigh
Delicious as the ripest berries
Lush as Indigo moonlight
Glimmering Silver to ponder and savour
Symphony of Harmonious Sound
With Blessings Waiting to be Found
In this world of rushing and instant gratification, it is very easy to overlook the Beauty evident all around us. Yes, there is an equal amount that is not beautiful, to be sure, but every blossom, every lilting birdsong, every shimmering sunrise, and whispering breeze holds within it the simplest, most profound beauty, peace, and Jubilation. One only needs to refocus for a few moments to discover the vast treasure trove scintillating all around.
This verse is an attempt to help the reader rediscover that focus, if only for the briefest moment.

The currents of life ever shift and change their flow. Sometimes those changes bring challenges, other times, Blessings, and even less often, both. This is one of those times.
Challenging, because I am in the midst of a life altering new direction. Blessings, because this new direction shall allow my Beloved and I to share our lives together. As it is Romantic Tuesday, I thought it a fitting time to announce my happy news.
No, sorry, no wedding bells pealing….not just yet anyway, but certainly a joyful occasion nevertheless. You see, over the next few weeks, I will be moving to the Washington DC area where my Dear One and I shall embark upon sharing our lives together. A new challenge in more than one respect, but a Blessing to be absolutely sure!
This change also will require me to take on a new job, which I have been searching for diligently over the past several months. Again, very challenging without a doubt, but another opportunity to be Blessed and to Be A Blessing in new situations, with new co-workers and new patients.
After a great deal of consideration, I have come to the realization that I am going to need to take some time away, not only from my blog, but from social media overall, in order to retain my sanity. (sanity is, of course, a relative term!)
Therefore, while this announcement is Happy, I am also sorry to report that BnV will be silent for some time. How much time I cannot say precisely, but be assured, I shall return. I will also be working on putting the finishing touches/edits on a project I have been working on for, literally, 20+ years. It is a Jane Austin style, romantic drama period piece set in the 1820′-30’s with, currently, over 147,000 words! More on this to come…..
So until life once again settles back into a routine, I shall wish you all the Best Blessings, Happiness and Peace …..as well as Challenges….that life has to offer 🙂
