. Summer Ornamental Flowers and Common Weeds in and around my Backyard
Photos by yours truly
Specters of Light, Infuse in Me
The Sweet Radiance of Your Memory,
Transcending the shifting, callow Flowers
Of the dark, descending, grasping hours
That tug and pull incessantly,
Heedless of the Glow in Me,
Of Your Inspiring Illumination,
Pursuing me with lustful Predation.
Oh Shine You Quiet, Soft, Luminous Glow,
Let Your Sparkling Glimmer Ever Flow
From me into the Glistering Murk,
Where ravenous calamity, Smiling, lurks.
