Speak in shadows and Whispers to my Heart
And let not my musings and Intrepid Thoughts
Take up arms against the Swelling Emotion that
Pours like a torrent from the Love Abiding within;
That if such notions should abate the tide,
If such a clamorous din of maddening chaos
Could quell the Pounding in this Heart at the
Merest Thought of You,
Then Shall I be Unworthy of Your Love
And Lost within the discord that threatens to
Steal You from Me;
Yet Whisper in the Softest Tone
In Your Sweetest Voice
And All the riotous ponderings of my mind Shall Cease,
Utterly Beguiled .

Today I have taken a cue from my wonderful Friend Michelle from http://michelleclementsjames.com and am conducting an experiment. In one of my Friday Fantasy poems I wrote the line: Where Fantasy is More than what it Seems. Michelle suggested this would be a Fantastic writing prompt, so I’m prompting….YOU ! In Dizzy spells of Enchantment,
As You, My Most Beloved One.
Lean Near to me beneath this Shrine of Ancient Light,
Allow me to Gaze in Breathless Wonder
Into the Remarkable Depths of Your Lustrous stare,
Beguiled and Bewildered
By the Intoxicating Allure I See,
Unrivaled by the Wealth of Splendor
Spanning O’er our Heads,

Press Your Perfect lips to mine
In the silhouette of Luminous Moonlight,

When You are so far?
How is it possible that I Know You
So much better than I can ever Imagine I do,
When we have not met.
How Shall I Explain to my own Heart
The Yearning that Abides there,
