By Morning’s Jocund Light,
When Midnight, Sleeping, Hides her Veiled Gaze,
And All the Larks in Beauteous Gardens and Blithe canopies of Viridian,
Sing to the Blessed Heavens with Lusty Peals and Vigor;
My Bleary Gaze,
Which Watches through Sweet Floods of tears as Life Persists,
Belies the Droll humour of my Lips
That in Laughing and Light Revelry makes such Misery
As this Heart would, else, endlessly cry, False.
