The Butterfly Counts

Not Months, But Moments

And Has Time Enough.

  1. Beautiful sentiments Morgan, it reminded me of a haiku that I love very much…

    The butterfly,
    even when pursued,
    never appears in a hurry.

    1. That is so lovely and indeed very true…they just flutter along, hither and thither in their own time 😉 Thanks Ever so for stopping 🙂

      1. I’m exhausted after having spent most of the weekend pursuing butterflies in the hope that I may be able to make them look as though they are hurrying. Alas I had no success so I am thinking about buying a jet pack in the hope that some increase in my speed and agility may help in the situation. If this fails then I will be fully satisfied that the haiku by Garaku is indeed a statement of truth and therefore worthy of being a haiku.
Apart from this, life in the Highlands is excellent…

How are things in your world Morgan?

Perhaps you would like to chase some butterflies when you get some free time and then you could send your data to me and then we could publish a joint scientific paper on the matter.
I’m fairly certain that a Nobel Prize for Science would be our deserved reward…
        Oooh!! Look, Butterfly… must dash.
        Take care.

      2. Things in my world are much as the Butterfly…hurrying along, though making it all look annoying unstressed. Some days I succeed and others…well, lets just say that on those days even the jet pack probably wouldn’t help. I would be happy to create a chart and participate in a joint research venture, as long as it took me to some far away and pleasingly tropical…or misty and cool on a mountain somewhere 🙂
