Beyond Morning
Into Memory so Sweet,
Time Eclipsed by Time Alone,
Standing mute Testament to All Those She has Touched,
Empty vessels, broken pieces,
Lingering Evidence of Her Passage,
Bending Perception with the slanting Light,
In which She Dances,
Merging Past and Present to Kiss the forehead of
The Wondering Bystander.
