The Road Leading Home

The-Road-Leading-Home

The Road Less Traveled
Is not Grown over with Moss,
It does not Lead to tragedy,
But Guides Away from cruel loss.

The Road Journeyed Infrequently
Glimmers in Light,
Sparkling and Shimmering
In the Deepest Dark Night.

The Road Followed Seldom
Spans the gulf of lost hope,
Bridging the chasm of fear’s
Pale slippery slope.

The Road Leading Home
May seem empty,
May look clear
But the Road Leading Home
Is never As it Appears.

    1. Thank You So So Much Richard! 🙂 this may sound pat, but coming from you, whom I admire as someone who has followed and found his Dream of writing, I am truly honoured 🙂

My sister sent this image to me via my Pinterest Booknvolume Board. People pin images to my board there and I then use them as a prompt to write a poem, incorporate the poem onto the image and then repost it completed. She selected a GREAT Image 🙂

      1. The admiration works both ways and thanks for Twitter. I’m useless on stuff like that and would never have found you if not for Skye.
PS if it’s any good to you and you want to put something about Dark Fey elsewhere, I have a guest blog page and you’re welcome to do a book ad or whatever you like for it. Just if it helps at all, no pressure whatsoever 🙂

      3. Hmm, I was hoping you’d have a plan LOL
I don’t mind, whatever you like. Email me anything at all: book write up, extract, pics, or the lot. Whatever you think will help.
