Upon the Dawn

When All that Cannot be Forgotten
Weighs down All that Might Yet Be,
Hope Springs Forth Upon the Dawn,
Enticing the Heart to be Set Free.

When Fear and Doubt confuse Today,
Trampling the Bright and Jocund Tomorrow,
Love Spreads its Warmth Upon the Dawn,
Itโ€™s Radiance Gently Soothing Sorrow.

When regret and anguish Fill each Breath,
Poisoning Life with Sallow Despair,
Peace Unfolds Upon the Dawn,
Offering Change Beyond Compare.
