Morgan, I think mistiness can HELP photos! Bright sunshine has a way of detracting from the subject and making angles appear too sharp. A bit of cloud cover, however, softens things — as your pictures demonstrate.

Thank You Debbie 🙂 It was misty/rainy/gray this morning as well and I could have stopped at least a dozen times. all the fall colours really pop against that slate gray sky!
