The savagery of night,
When demons call and
Angels take flight;
Enticing bottle masking your fear,
Pushing away whoever was near.
The bliss of the garden,
Where enchantment lures
The heart that’s hardened;
Exquisite, sensual subterfuge ,
Hiding the Pain of Reality’s Ruse.
The inexorable losing
Of all that was ours, now
Gone by your choosing;
Succulent, blinding taste of Wine,
Rusting forever what once was so Fine.

Indeed there are, and many are by no means unpleasant. Unfortunately in this context, I mean sideways, unattractive, destructively drunk 😦
