You rock at haikus! Any tips for writing them? Whenever I try, instead of it being ethereal and poignant as yours is, it’s…a splatter of grossness dribbling down my screen.

Thank You so much…. ๐ Well, one thing I know about Haiku is that they are meant to convey emotion, so the first thing I try to do is decide what emotion or sensation I am trying to relate. I often start there, select and image and let them speak to me to guide what I am writing. Try it in easy steps, don’t worry so much about the language you use, just focus on the emotion. Then, when you’ve written it, engage the thesaurus ๐ lol
