In The Lime Light – #Interview with Neha of #ForgottenMeadows #PoetryBlog

Today I have the pleasure of sharing fellow Poet Neha from Forgotten Meadows blog.
Neha is a dreamer, a published writer, and a business professional. She enjoys blogging and welcomes feedback from her readers. She hopes her writing makes you think and admire the little things life has to offer and reminds us that we always have time to imagine, to dream, and to follow your passion in life.

Please Introduce us to your Blog.  What is it all about?   What sorts of posts do you lean towards?  My blog forgottenmeadows.wordpress.com is a personal poetry and photography blog. I lean towards posts that are positive and spread the message of hope with my readers.

What Inspires and stirs your creativity?  I am a dreamer who loves to imagine, so it’s partly my imagination that stirs my creativity and of course, there is mother nature, my greatest source of inspiration.

Conversely, what do you find difficult to write about?  Loss and grief is difficult to write about, but it’s in writing that I find solace during these times.

What Message, if any, do you hope to Share through your blog/posts?  As mentioned earlier, I like to share the message of hope, I also hope to share the message to follow one’s dreams, the message of love towards one another, towards oneself, and towards earth and the message of peace.

What Inspires you to write your poetry?  This response is the same as what inspired my creativity. 😊

From what Point of View do you prefer to write? Is there a reason?  It depends on the individual piece, I have written poetry in all three.

Please share two or three of your favourite poems and tell us a little about them:  I am a bit of both, most of my poetry just comes to me intuitively but there are times where I painstakingly plot it out to fit a certain form, especially when I am trying an unfamiliar or new poetic style. Below are three of my poems that the reader might enjoy.

Let me find hope is about finding hope in the darkest days, Travel Dreams is about travel and exploring your curious heart, and Don’t give Up on You is about not giving up on oneself.

If you had to describe yourself to someone who has never met you, what might you say?  I am an optimist and a dreamer, trying to pursue my passion for creative writing.

If you could meet one person from the past, who might it be and why?  I would like to meet Rumi or Plato and just have a conversation with them. I would like to feel enriched with the thoughts from their beautiful minds.

When you are NOT writing, what is your favourite pastime?  Spending time with my loved ones, trying new recipes and reading! 😀

Do you have a Mantra?  I have two: Everything will be alright and never stop dreaming!
