#FridayFictioners – Crimson Glitters – #FlashFiction

.

Crimson glitters scattered darkness into the night; fire and flame cascading through the silence.  The quiet environs of forest would never be the same.  Not after He had been there, shaking his hatred outward, spreading abhorrence and cruelty like seeds being sown into fertile soil; like sparks scattering from a raging flame.

They stood in mute horror, watching the conflagration as it stretched outward from his hands, crimson glitters of malevolence reaching into their tranquility, seeking only devastation.

Yet one stood against the infiltration; deep viridian staring boldly into the scarlet haze, wielding a magic Evil could never comprehend.

Forgiveness.

    1. 🙂 Thank You Sue 🙂 I don’t often say so, but they are both available FREE via Kindle Unlimited, if you participate.

      OR

if you are truly interested (NO Pressure, really) and should be willing to offer a fair review in return, I would be happy to provide you a Mobi copy of them?

      1. Darn, I don’t Kindle. It’s one of those luxuries bone head frowns on! I would love to give you a very fair review. I’ve done a lot of that over the years. First though, Mobi copy? 🙂 (I’m blushing).

      2. It’s a free copy for your kindle. So if you are truly interested, you can download a free version of KindleReader for your phone or laptop directly from kindle. Then I can send you the mobi, which would upload into your kindle so you can read it 😉

either that or I also have pdf. versions available that would need Adobe Reader.

I don’t want you to feel like Im pressuring you…just saying 😉

      3. Oh no, I don’t feel that way at all. The old guy has Adobe Reader on his computer. I’ll have to figure this out. I know he would let me use it. 🙂

    1. Thank You Ever So Much. I found Bjorn’s post in my reader this morning and thought I’d give it a go as well. I appreciate the amazing welcome I’ve received. May I ask how this all works? Is it a weekly prompt?

      1. It is a weekly prompt. You can find the new prompt every Wednesday on my blog at 2:30 AM CDT (I’m in Missouri). The linkz that we use closes the following Tuesday. Then you just do what you did today. Note: I do ask that credit is given to the weekly photographer. This week it is Vijaya Sundaram.
This is a great global community. Happy to have you aboard, Morgan.
        Shalom,

      2. Thank You Rochelle. Once I found your blog and read the full post, I did add the photographer’s name to my post. Im having trouble adding the cute little froggy link, but other than that, it was a wonderful challenge and I look forward to more 🙂 Thanks for welcoming me 😉

  2. Interesting preview and situation! Viridian is a name, correct? I’m very intrigued by these two characters–the entrancing dark figure emanating evil and the other one with this strong, unexpected response.

    1. viridian is his eye colour, actually. His name is Evondair. I am delighted you are intrigued 🙂 the series (Dark Fey) starts lightly, but builds into quite an intense tale, as it goes along. More previews are on my blog, IF you find yourself curious.
