Amidst the Subtle Candlelight

Amidst the Subtle Candlelight

Hush

In the Billowing Tide of Night

Brush

My cheek with Your most Fervent Kiss

Sigh

In Love’s most Passionate Devotion

Lie

Beside me in the Shifting Shadows

Entrance

My Breath and Pulse with Your Ardent Love

Romance

Me Until Time Slips into Eternity

For Only Then
Only There
Amidst the Dancing Dapples of Subtle Candlelight
Shall we Find Purest Contentment
Sweetest Joy.

  1. I have missed your words and their innate beauty…you delivered this one perfectly! The great thing about being away for a while, is always knowing there are beautiful pearls waiting for ones return to embrace them…you have made my morning….Morgan, thanks for the blessing!

  2. ‘Amidst the Dancing Dapples of Subtle Candlelight’, I love that line..I would look at this scene with two thoughts in mind, one of nice olde worlde romance or the precursor for a scene involving Dracula…neither of which I am averse to.

      2. Germany won 1-0 and Argentina lost 1-0 and that accounts for both teams in the final. Yes more books! Books and books of them!!!

      3. Well, at least it was a close game. I hate when one team entirely runs away with the game…which happens a lot at Superbowls.

I am planning on a trilogy, though right now I’ll be happy to finish Chapter one of book two LOL 🙂 finding time to write is definitely not easy. (waa waa waa….Yes, I’d like some cheese with my Whine!) 🙂

      4. My ‘adopted’ team Seattle did that in your Super Bowl last time around if I remember rightly.

Why do fantasy books tend to come along in trilogies, is it a magic number or something? Why not skip chapter one for the moment and come back to it or just call it chapter two and thereby cheat life.

      5. They did indeed. I think I ended up just watching the commercials and even those weren’t all that amusing. MY team, the Patriots, didn’t even make it, so I was not all that interested to begin with.

Im not entirely sure if its the hard, fast rule , but for myself I simply didn’t want to write a book that had 1000 pages LOL….who would read that ( I don’t think I even would!) 🙂

Both very good ideas..in fact, in book one, I started with Chapter 6!

      6. Bit of an Intellectual Challenge, that. The Longest book I’ve ever read was the unabridged version of Bleak House. I had to work for that one!

      7. I haven’t had the pleasure of that one yet, I am slowly working through my matching hardbacks of Dickens, which look well sexy on my shelf.

Lord of the Rings and the 1500 page War and Peace are probably my biggest books, although The Conquest of Mexico can’t have been far off either.

      8. OH…imagine, I forgot I read LOTR!! LOL though Im not sure if it entirely qualifies, since it took me, easily, 2 years to finish all three !

      9. Crikey that’s epic, my first reading took three weeks and Stephen King’ The Stand was seven weeks but I only read that three hours a night…fond book memories all round though.
